The use of leading software and digitization tools strengthens the security of running the nation-ally strategic investment project that consists in the construction of the first nuclear power plant in Poland. The choice of specific solutions results from the need to optimize the existing IT sys-tems, and ensure the efficiency of corporate processes.

The use of the top quality functionalities offered by SAP reduces the system’s operating costs while maintaining a high level of data security, and enables to standardize key business processes at Polskie Elektrownie Jądrowe. The software supports more than 600 model processes, from which the company can choose the functions most suited to its business needs. The decision to use a public cloud model reduces the need to invest in the company’s own IT infrastructure and gives flexibility in the selection of system maintenance partners.

First such implementation in Poland
The deployment of this type of software is the first implementation of SAP S/4HANA and SAP SuccessFactors in the Public Cloud model in Poland. Polskie Elektrownie Jądrowe carried it out with All-for-One and with the support of SAP Polska in less than eight months. The system offers ready-made processes that only need to be adapted to the company’s corporate processes, and the project management and documentation creation itself is supported by modern, dedicated tools.
Polskie Elektrownie Jądrowe sp. z o.o. is responsible for development and construction of the first Polish nuclear power plant with a capacity of 3,750 MWe. The facility will be built in the commune of Choczewo in Pomerania, using state-of-the-art generation III/III+ pressurized water reactors in the AP1000 technology of Westinghouse, a US company. To date, the company has obtained the first administrative decisions for this project, including the decision in principle, decision on envi-ronmental conditions, and location decision. Initial field work is currently underway at the site in Pomerania.
