PGE EJ 1 completes a round of preliminary dialogue sessions

08.07.2014

The first round of meetings held by PGE EJ 1 under preliminary dialogue with representatives of companies/consortia interested in potential participation in the Integrated Proceedings has been completed. The meetings commenced on 17th April 2013 and covered key aspects of the Integrated Proceedings.

In compliance with the agreed schedule the series of preliminary dialogue sessions has now come to an end. The meetings provided us with the necessary insight into what entities may wish to participate in the Integrated Proceedings, under what conditions, with what offers and expectations. The volume and significance of issues under discussion confirm the necessity and benefit of holding such meetings – observes Mr Aleksander Grad, President of PGE EJ 1.

Parties invited to participate in the meetings included potential partners and vendors, who were also present during earlier information sessions held in September 2011 and September-October 2012, maintaining interest in potential participation in the Integrated Proceedings.

Notice regarding the Integrated Proceedings: The integrated procedure entails the execution of a single procedure combining key elements of the project, including the selection of a strategic or business partner to provide the technology, the selection of main contractor, the provision of support services covering operation and maintenance of the power plant, the fuel supply and the provision of debt financing.
