As of 22 February 2024, the Extraordinary General Meeting of Shareholders of Polskie Elektrownie Jądrowe sp. z o.o. appointed Leszek Juchniewicz as a member of the Management Board and entrusted him with the duties of President of the Management Board.
Dr. Leszek Juchniewicz was a long-time lecturer and employee of commercial banks. From 1994 to 1997, he served as Undersecretary of State at the Ministry of Ownership Transformation and Undersecretary of State at the Ministry of the Treasury. From 1997 to 2007, he was President of the Energy Regulatory Office. He has been repeatedly appointed to the supervisory bodies of commercial law companies, including as Chairman of the Board of the Stock Exchange or Chairman of the Supervisory Board of Petrochemia Płock S.A. Between 2013 and 2021, he held the positions of Advisor to the President of the Board and Chief Economist of Employers of Poland.
He is the author of dozens of articles and several academic books on finance, economic policy, energy industry regulations and privatization.
At the same time, as of 22 February 2024, Jan Chadam became the company’s commercial proxy.
Jan Chadam is a practitioner with many years of experience in the management of companies and capital groups. In 2009-2015, he served as President of the Management Board of GAZ-SYSTEM S.A., and in 2015-2017 as President of the Management Board of Polskie LNG sp. z o.o. He was responsible for the implementation of the country’s largest infrastructure projects, including the strategic LNG terminal in Świnoujście along with the gas pipeline network. Jan Chadam is also the author of numerous publications on finance and management.
Jan Chadam holds a PhD in Economics.
In addition, we would like to inform you that the existing members of the Board of Directors, as of 22 February 2024, ceased to hold their current positions.
