Jan Chadam ends cooperation with PEJ

27.09.2024

As of 30 September 2024 Jan Chadam is stepping down from his role as a commercial proxy for Polskie Elektrownie Jądrowe (PEJ). The decision is motivated by personal reasons. This change does not impact the schedule of PEJ's project to build a nuclear power plant in the Lubiatowo-Kopalino site, currently underway. Mr. Chadam's duties will be taken over by members of the company's management board.

‘Jan Chadam is an exceptional professional, so we have accepted his decision with regret, but also with understanding. Recently, we have carried out as a company — in cooperation with Jan Chadam — a number of important activities: we submitted an application for a permit for preparatory works for the construction of a nuclear power plant in Pomerania. We also supported the government administration in preparing a state aid notification for our investment project. We are also in the final stages of talks with the company's future financial advisor. The company Polskie Elektrownie Jądrowe (PEJ) is operating and nothing is changing in this regard. We are consistently reaching successive milestones of our project,’ said Leszek Juchniewicz the company’s president.

PEJ's management board composition remains unchanged — Leszek Juchniewicz is the president, and Piotr Piela vice-president of the company.
