Tomasz Szubiela has extensive experience in managing complex and multi-faceted investment projects. Over the past more than 25 years of his career, he has successfully implemented, together with the teams he created, projects of strategic importance to Poland and Europe, which included the Baltic Pipe, that is, a new gas supply corridor for Central and Eastern Europe which was built and delivered on time, and the construction and subsequent expansion of the region’s first LNG terminal in Świnoujście. He was also involved in the organization of the project structure necessary to launch the ongoing FSRU terminal project in Gdańsk.
Tomasz Szubiela also has experience in working in government administration, where he supervised areas and units of key importance for the functioning of the state, such as IT systems and networks, state registers and records, or the production of official documents. The value of the projects he has completed so far amounts to tens of billions of Polish zlotys.
To date, Tomasz Szubiela has held the position of Executive Director and Director of the Program to Build Polish Nuclear Power Plants at PEJ. His scope of responsibilities included rebuilding the company’s structure and adapting it to the challenges related to the delivery of the largest investment project – the construction of the first nuclear power plant in Poland.
